Winter Solstice
Well, actually a day late. This shot was taken on the Crest of the Pig Trail yesterday morning about 6:30am near Mulberry Mountain Resort (I think that is the new name, used to be called Spirit Mountain Resort), thanks for looking and Merry Christmas to all.

Beautiful color and reflection Tom - to compliment the composition. That hour before sunrise is one of my favorite times of the day. Did you happen to see any fog in the valleys there?

Bill, there was a lot of fog in the valley and it forced me to the top of the hill to get this shot and I then went over to Flygap road for the sunrise and saw a similar scenario at sunrise that you saw at Buzzard's Roast.

Tom, really nice image. I lke the way the darkened corners draw you into the scene and compliment the silhouettes and pre-dawn light. Thanks for sharing!
