A bit of a sparkler
A Christmas day upload

Hope everyone is having a cracking Christmas :toast:

D2X - 600mm AF-S F4
ISO 200, F4, 1/40th sec
Using SB800 Flash with xtender, it was a very dull & gey day.
Vehicle used as a hide.

Back to the washing up now :frown:

I like this one Vince. Nice comp, good prop and, although maybe a tad too much flash, it's certainly lifted the picture and brought out the detail in the bird.

It's so dark up here in Yorkshire I think I'd need my two SB800's and two SB28's combined to get anything like an exposure :frown:

The overlooked Starling is one very beautiful bird and this setting shows it off well.

Merry Christmnas to you too.

Excellent Vince, a touch large in the frame for me but that is personal, great perch and pose.
