Nikon Coolpix 5400
Taken while driving down the street after work. My Mt Adams Hood River Coffee Co. label shot here was taken from the roof of the hospital which is directly in front of me and off the left edge of the photo.
I was thinking while I was taking this "Hmmm, life doesn't suck"!
A nice grab from your car. That's some glow its got going on.

I know the feeling you are talking about. I'm glad you were moved enough to snap one off. Of course, I know you didn't psot this because you think it is one of your best works of art...

Reminds me of being stuck in traffic on I-5, and seeing the mountain bathed in beautiful alpenglow in the distance. It makes it difficult to keep one's eye on the traffic.
Interesting how the reflective signs are lit up, probably from the headlamps or flash.

This is a great image, Mark. Not for it's aesthetic value, but for it's evocative qualities. The contrasting landscapes tell a story very well. A theme along the lines of man being very removed from a distant wilderness environment. I actually do think this is one of the better images I've seen lately here. I'd just like to see the signs toned down a little and the shadow details stand out a tad more, but seriously, I like this a lot.

Thanks, everyone,
It must have been the flash that caused those signs to do that. I wonder what those people thought when they saw the flash in my car?
