Sunrise in the Gorge
Hi everyone.... we had a few folks look at our house this week so maybe things are picking up & we can get the house sold & get back to God's country ... that being The PNW.

Since you folks are posting ( and the Midwest forum is dead as a door nail...) here's a shot from last June---Sunrise on the Gorge. Not the best sunrise, but one I enjoy ,hoping for better sunrises in the future.

I can't wait t get out to the PNW and be more active with you folks.

Have a Happy New Year and keep shooting.

Let us know when you arrive, & that's a huge shame about the midwest forum, I've been disappointed with the Texas one too. Come on you flatlanders, we know you're doing some lovely work, let's share it.

Wow. Beautiful. Can't wait to see your 'grand' sunrises if this is 'not the best.'
Have you located a home place here in PNW? Hope you can hurry on out and be ready for Spring.

The color you captured is very moody and sweet. Wish to see this a little bigger...but right off, I wish for a tad bit of detail in the trees on the left. Post here all you want! :toast:

Yeah, Jack, come on down! Life certainly doesn't suck here. When will you be here? The flowers go off pretty much April, May and June. (although then the flowers higher up start up, then we can go hiking and camping and then mt bike season is in full swing but if it's blowing in the Gorge we'd have to go windsurfing, although the days are so long in the summer you could photo in the morning, do a 15 mile mt bike ride right outside of Hood River and then sail till almost dark.) No, live doesn't suck!

I love that warm glow and the many layers. I want to see it bigger!
