Not posted for ages, took this yesterday just between a nuclear power station and philips petroleum!

They have been round for a while but not had time to go out. Not the best but its a start. Back light was nice.

1DSMK2
500mm
ISO 200
Full frame
From car (hand held)

Thanks

Brian

I like this very much. It would be nice a bit larger in the frame I think but very nice all the same.

Love the ruffled-up look and light. Back-lighting is good.

I expect they'll be ruffled up rather a lot this weekend/Monday!

Regards.

Thats the great thing about nuclear power stations - people won't go near them so it gives some space for wildlife

Love the owl's pose. I think for the web a tighter crop might be good so you can see more of the details but if printed large i'd leave it as it is.

I'd rather see this w/o so much fence at the base.
In saying that; if it were mine I'd be well happy with it, in no small part because of the backlighting.
