A Handful of Agates
My daughter holds some agates we found at Seal Rock Beach just south of Newport, Oregon.

When were you there, Steve? We probably just missed each other. A pretty decent collection of Agates she found. They get pretty exposed this time of year.

This was taken back in July, 2006. We love that part of Oregon and go there at least once a year just to hang out for a few days.

That's a really nice collection of Agates for July. The beach was just covered with them two days ago when I was there.

We grow em a bit biger than that downunder, some of em are quite spectacular as I remember from my Rockhounding days of the sixties and seventies.
