Hi,
Haven't been able to get out much lately to take photos, but managed an afternoon at Old Moor over Christams. Got this grab shot of the plovers rising before roosting. Not quite sure about it myself.

Hi Rob,
Well I'm pretty rubbish at this type of shot - but for what it is worth my opinion is that it doesn't quite work for me - I think probably because there are birds at to many angles and degrees of blur that it all ends up a bit confusing and my eye is all over the place before leaving the image in the space at the lower right. Nice try though - and still better than anything I could do with this type of image!!

I like this Rob. Maybe not a commercial shot, but one that is good for the soul!!!

Not really for me either I'm afraid Rob. Just a bit of a mish-mash of blurred birds. I'm a bit of a purist so wouldn't appreciate anything arty unfortunately.... but I'm sure there's lots of people that would.

Sort of like it.
The background, though, is a bit grey and dreary. I don't think that helps.
(Could be my uncalibrated laptop screen though?)
Happy new year
