Tim locked on to another First Place finish for November at BetterPhoto.com. A wonderful California Poppies photograph. I had a lighthouse photo in the finals but didn't make the final cut.

Congrats Tim! A first place image two months in a row!

Here is the link to the winners: November Better Photo Winners

Here is a link to the finalists: November Better Photo Finalists

The site generally gets over 25,000 entries each month. They are narrowed down to about 750 finalists and then into grand prize, first place and second place. There is one first place winner in each of 10 categories, and 10 second place winners in each of 10 categories.

Tim has done exceptionally well on this web site earning several seconds and now racking up some firsts!

Ok, I had to go up there and take a look. Very nice, Tim! Great shot.

Ryan - I couldn't find your entry...

Plus, now that you guys have made this site known to me, I just had to go and post some of my own. Sheesh...

Geoff, it is a pretty cool site. If you follow the link to the finalists (I didn't make the cut for a first or second place finish), you can go to page 7 and see my image about 3/4 the way down the page. I posted it previously on this forum, so if you want to see it here you can find it in a post I made on October 1st called "Yes, another lighthouse"
