Nice finish to 2006

Taken this morning at Slimbridge. After a three hour wait the bittern finally came into the open for a couple of minutes. A good end to a good year.

Canon 1D MkII N
Canon 600mm f4 L IS USM
1/60sec@f8 iso 400
Full frame processed in C1 Pro and CS2

Hmmm - a master of the under statement then Kevin!
A stunning finish I'd say! - A great image that would be hard to beat. If I get something half as good as this in 2007 I will be well pleased.

Beautiful capture of a diificult-to-photograph skulker. Just needs a tad more room for the trailing foot in bottom left.
