Well the was approx 2480 topics on UKNP last year of which ~ 85% of them where images. Each post on average gets about 7 replys which means that there where approx 19840 posts in 2006 - approx 14,000 of them giving some form of feedback on the image presented - where else would you get this service - most camera clubs only meet once a month - most postal rings operate a one month or 2 month return.
This forum gives nearly instant feedback to UK/European Nature Photographers!
Since most threads are viewed an average of 150 times at approx 400Kb per thread means that UKNP served a maximum of approx 150*400*2480 = 148.8GB of information last year but probably half of that as your pc will cache.
UKNP has approx 60 (paying) members that enable this to happen, many thanks for your generosity.
As always we are looking to improve and expand - this will be a small end of day topic at our 1st Conference.
Many thanks to you all for the civility of this Forum and for a relatively 'Mod' free year (apart from the odd 'Rule 6' incident ) and I hope all of us are looking forward to some good images, friendly advice and meeting a few more of each other in 2007.
