Hi there, thought I best introduce myself as I hope to become a familiar face on the forum. NPN member Brian Phipps put me onto the site and and after spending some time browsing through the threads I can see what a huge benefit joining in here can make to my photography.
I've not been shooting nature photography that long, my regular work is surf photography but England is very fickle with its weather and waves so I often have heaps of time on my hands to get out and about enjoying my surroundings of North Devon. Shooting surf has built my kit list up pretty suitably for wildlife and in a sense some of the technique is the same, but its very clear to me from hours of wasted trips out that I have soo much to learn.
Anyway I look forwards to sharing my images with you and maybe even being able to offer some advice of my own!!!
Ok I give up, so perhaps I cant post images in the reply box...can I?

Possibly not if you aren't a member Raff. Also, as a non-member, you can only specify a URL on your website when posting an image as opposed to pointing to a file on your hard drive as members can. Think that's right. Probably some info on it somewhere here.
As a guest you are limited to what and how you can post, basically you can only post one image every 72 hours and you cannot add a image to a thread like the Members can. All images must be less than 200kb, less than 720pixels on their longest side (inc white space and borders) and be Nature Photography related
Great to see the westcountry is being represented.
The more I browse through old posts the clearer it is of the standard of photography here, soon as I have some new material I get posting.
Thanks all
