Happy New Year to everyone at MWNP. I thought I would share an image from my first hike of '07. My wife and I hiked Old Man's Cave Gorge on New Years Day to take advantage of the perfect shooting conditions and temps in the 40s. This often photographed spot is the cascades just above Old Man's Cave.

Nice shot, Kirk. I'd like it better if the left side was taken out of the comp. The blocked up shawdows I find a little distracting, but I like the remainder of the scene.
Though the weather has been good for winter hiking I'm tired of the warm, rain filled, sunless days and I want snow!
