Hi.

Hope you all enjoyed Xmas and the New Year Celebrations despite some dreadful weather in some parts of the UK.

Experimenting with backing off a touch with a smaller subject at the moment, this was processed without the comfort zone of my calibrated system so hopefully it looks OK....

All the best

Phil

Very nice image Phil. I think birds look so much better with room to move; the perch is very nice and composition great. Looks like the levels need lifting to brighten the image, but that could just be my (uncalibrated) monitor.

kind regards

John

Nice photograph with strong compositon but there is a very strong blue colour cast on this posted version I am afraid (easy to correct though)

Cheers Barrie.... its amazing how much you come to rely on a calibrated system, will correct it when I get back later today....

Hi Phil.
Small works well here.
Good perch with plenty to look at and a nice pose from your model too.

Apart from the colour cast I like this image. (I'm using an uncalibrated laptop and the image is far too green.)

Plenty of space for the bird and nice pose and perch.
