Ok, might as well jump in feet first.
These two swans are George and Gracie from Star Lake in Hoover, AL. They were recently introduced in hopes of thinning out the Canada Goose population. Of course, they didn't realize that by first removing the turtles that had taken over the lake that MORE Canada Geese would show up. The population tripled quickly. I think now they're just hoping that George and Gracie will nest and start defending their territory. Of course, I think its gonna be funny the first time one of the folks who bought the swans gets chased by them for "invading their territory".
You did a great job handling the difficult exposure of the bright, sunlit white against the darker background. The blue foreground and gold background ripples really make this one for me. I also love the alternating lines-of-site of each swan. Well done!

Very nice! The almost intertwining of the swans looks really good.

Thanks for the kind words guys! George and Gracie are really tolerant of the camera. None of the "its a big eye - run!" attitude that a lot of birds have.

The intertwining really makes this one work!
