Bewicks at Sunset
Took a visit to Slimbridge today to see the Bittern, to many people in the hide so I went off to play elsewhere.

Before leaving I had a stab at flight shots & this is one of the shots I came away with, which I was quite pleased with.

Thanks for looking:toast:

D2X - 400mm AF-S F2.8

I'd be well pleased with this.
What's that bright circle in the sky?

Stunner-the inclusion of the sun really completes the image :toast:

Lovely shot Vince - as already said, the sun really makes this image.

Hi Vince

Stunning image, it's not very often you get lighting like this where you can capture the sun in the image and you have made the most of it!

Hmm, just thought... in my original post I commented on the sun, but is it in fact the moon???

Fantastic! Great composition and the huge moon (or sun, or Jupiter, or Mars  ) in the background takes it to a higher level.

I'd be well chuffed with this!
