For Sale, due to an immenient upgrade to a 24" Eizo, one Viewsonic 19" Flat VG910b monitor
see HERE for specs.

There is one small 'slightly dull' spot on the monitor - but I have lived with it with no problems for about 2 years, all pixels are working, display resolution 1280x1024.

Offers?

G'day Tom I'm looking to move into one of these in the near future but no good me bidding as the freight wood bog it down, I think the sell here for around $700.00 new thats the last bit for me my new printer is transit to me at this time, once it arrives I'll be ordering my new computer, the the monitor.

Hey up Tom, don't you fancy the 30inch Dell I see you can now get it for £800 a similar price for the Eizo, less status I guess but more resolution and working space.

Yep that was the model but I was planning to get if from Native Digital.

Now I think I will wait until I have seen the dell in the 'flesh'

Tom, take a serious look at the Dell. I also looked at the EIZO but the Dell is as good.

Thanks for the discussion thread guys. Very useful info for a new monster screen that I've been promising myself. Has anyone here (on UKNP) have the new MacBook Pro? I was wondering whether you can get a docking station to work with a large screen. Actually its probably all wireless knowing Mac.

Guys,

The dell needs a WQXGA graphics card, not sure that my machine, let alone my pocket, will cope.

I have a AGP motherboard and the card I have will support 1920 pixels but not WQXGA

Also to be honest, I don't have the desk space and the EIZO has a 5 year / 30,000 hour guarantee

Hi Elliot,

The MacBookPro has a Dual Link DVI built in, so is more than capable of powering the 30" screens without the need for any sort of docking station.

Tom

I got my Dell 24" just before xmas when they had it on special, it's a great monitor and the wide screen space works well in CS.
