Folks,
The PNWNP forum was done proud by all the winners in the NPN 06 images. You all are to be commended and frankly I saw lots that should have been there as well.

Thanks all, and congrats to Marc, Jeremy, and Rick, really wonderful work. This group is comprised of so many talented photographers, and I'm not surprised to have such a good showing from the PNW folks. Keep up the great work all.

Hey folks,
I congratulate you all again. I don't think everyone realizes what an achievement this is. There are thousands of images posted on the national forums from around the world. These images are the best of the best for 2006. I'm especially proud of my brother. Three years ago he was shooting with a 3 mgpxl P&S. His photography and the effort he puts into it is impressive to me considering the amount of free time he actually has. So too all of you, Congratulations again and good work.

Thanks Erik, I appreciate that. I must admit, I owe a lot to this very forum for my progress...I especially owe a lot to you and Ned for getting me back into photography after a 10 year vacation...
Which leads me to a little confusion on why most PNW forum members have not congratulated the PNW winners. Their silence is actually pretty rude in my opinion. I dont need a backslap...so that comment isn't about me, it's about the other deserving winners. That's all I have to say about that

For the record, I think Rick was refering to the views/comment ratio. I know from way back when he was a toddler he was always needy.
