Hey folks,
Here is a sunset we captured on Hurricane Ridge snowshoeing with the Watson's. It was almost a washout but the sun poked through the cloud layer and lit up the peaks.
Rick, this one lacks a little depth, or something for me. I see the wonderful mountains out there, but they don't quite grab my attention. My eye gets lost a bit in the lower dark area, but I do like the detail that is in the dark portion of the photo. A little more of a pano by cropping from the bottom seems like it might put the mountains more in the spotlight. It's a good scene, nice light on the mountains, but I just feel like there's something not quite right.

Seems very dark and not much detail in the bottom 60% of the image. A GND would have helped a lot to balance this one... ??? I love the top part.

I think you could crop out half way to the peaks from the bottom and not really lose anything, Rick.
