Opening this back up as made me think that I don't want to grow up & be a wildlife photographer anymore

Edit: Seriously it looked like I missed out on a great conference :frown:

I am the one sat behind Helge (but which one is helge is the question)

It was great meeting everyone and I really enjoyed the whole Day. The talks were an excellent choice a real mixed bag. Paul Hobson showed us some fantastic images from his many trips abroad and also gave us some excellent tips on when and where. Mike Lanes talk was of particular interest to myself as I am still learning digital workflow but boy He does take so much material it makes you weep. Daves talk gave us a great insight into how to approach agencies and he also showed some great stuff which we have come to expect. I liked Kevins as well, some real beautiful images of Barn Owls and Kingfishers and his passion for wildlife photography really showed in his approach. Tom rounded of the day with a selection of great images from the isle of May some great stuff.

All in all it was nice to meet some of the members of the forum and was great to spend the Day with Like minded people.

I would like to thank Tom and Nick for going to the trouble in arranging the day and also all the speakers for giving up their time.

:toast: Heres to the next one.

All the best

Danny :wavey:

I really enjoyed it, the talks were full of useful information and real gems. It was also great to meet some of the members, all shapes and sizes but all nuts about photography.
So yeah cheers Tom and Nick :toast: , great day had.

Oh dear, Tom did you have to post that picture (I am the errrrr very cuddley one right at the front left - wide angle lenses really do not suit me!)
I found the conference very enjoyable and useful. The talks were interesting with some great information and it was great to meet people who were up to that point just names.
Thanks to Tom and Nick for organising.

Overall a good environment shot - good eye contact and head turn but would prefer to see as a panorama maybe? Slightly clipped the feet as well...
