I'm always looking for critique and feedback on my images so now i'm open to feedback on my podcast too. The latest episode (#2), a video podcast, is about my experience photographing Mobius Arch in the Alabama Hills (an image I've previously submitted) and includes other photographs from this outting. Its rough around the edges but I gotta start somewhere. Check it out here and please feel free to relay feedback so I can improve episodes to come: EXIF and Beyond: Mobius Arch(pictured below)
Note: The next episode will be a two parter and will be an interview with pro great Art Wolfe. For that reason alone I'd recommend subscribing.
Jim, I don't use iTunes. You may be able to reach a wider audience if you also offered other formats.

The format leverages quicktime not so much iTunes. iTunes is built onto the Quicktime foundation.
I have it listed on Podcast Alley too and will be listing it with other podcast directories in the near future. I didn't provide a link to it as it hasn't been included yet. It takes some time.

Thanks for the input Guy... how do you currently view or listen to podcasts?
Jim, I use Juice to download files and play them on my (non-iPod) Mp3 player or using Winamp.

Good to know Guy.... I'll look into releasing the podcast in another format. I'm trying to keep the work down to a minimum so I can keep focused on photography. We'll see how that goes.

I just listened to your podcast. you did a good job narrating the photos articulately while staying interesting. Cool.

Very cool! I enjoyed viewing and hearing your thoughts. It added an extra dimension to the images in the cast.

That was fun; first I'd seen like that. Looking fwd to seeing more.
On a critique side, not sure if it was my quicktime player or not, but some of the image transitions got a wee bit jumpy.

Gary thanks for the feedback on the podcast. This was my first time delving into video podcasts. The software used produced much smoother transitions but I think some of it is lost as the file size is reduced. I'll look into the next time around. Part of the problem I think may my editing. I had a couple images transition by rather quickly. I'll be a little more sensitive to that in the future.

I just listed and watched it on my ipod and your podcast is great. I really enjoyed it. The transitions between the pictures were jumpy even on my ipod so it's not just quicktime.

I would like to see this, but It wants me to download itunes. If you could do it in a quicktime format, just about everyone could get it.

Jim - I checked it out and enjoyed it. The length seems pretty appropriate for the content so far. If you went longer, it would probably help to have more images. Since I don't get to travel for photography often, I can imagine this being a great resource for people wanting brief detailed looks into the possibilities at different locations. Thanks for sharing.
