I mysteriously made it over to the SE forum again. I have to say, Richard, that I actually find the original to be slightly stronger. I get more room to breath with the cloud tops a bit lighter allthough this does emphasize the light more. I guess I like the improved contrasts around the sunbeams, but still favor lighter cloud tops... Ok. Back to the NW for me. It's cold up there.

I really like how the curved stream cuts through the beach and leads the eye to the sunrise. Very nice comp.
