Another in my quest to improve the images of Robins in my files, this was actually taken on New Years Day when there was a break in the weather allowing a higher shutter speed.
All the best

HI Phil
nice shot of the Robin fine to see something different.

Hi Phil,
The light and background are lovely, and the animated position of the Robin prevents this being another boring BOAS shot. The lichen-covered perch is also appealing, but I find the OOF section in lower left somewhat distracting. Therefore, if it were mine, I would crop most of the OOF portion of the perch, perhaps making a squarish crop out of the top two-thirds of the frame.

Hi Phil
A very nice start to 2007, I like the colours and pose, nice and sharp too. Only minor nit is the lower part of the perch is a bit of a distraction for me and I would prefer a slightly closer in version. Other than that, a top notch Robin image, I like the wing movement.
cheers

Superb - I agree with John - it is really nice to see something a little different.
