I'm making a slide show with Photodex to be used to show on a wall with a projector. What image size L x W PPI would be adequate for this?
Thanks

It depends on the projector. Can you find out what the specs will be on the the projector you are using? Many older ones would be 800x600. The newer ones will have a better resolution like 1024 X 768. You'll have the most control of how the picture appears when displayed if you make the picture the same size are the screen resolution.

Thanks Mel,
If I go with 1024 x 768, what pixel/inch for resolution do you use?

Usually 72dpi works fine for onscreen display.

pixels per inch has no meaning for display on a monitor or a projector. pixels are pixels. if your image is 1024x768, it doesn't matter if it is set to 300ppi or 72ppi, it will still display the same on a monitor or projector.
pixels per inch only really matters when you are printing.

Brent - It doesn't matter how right your are in this regard, I have heard this for quite some time. I still hear people assert that a picture sized for 300 ppi projects or displays better than one sized for 72 ppi. If your picture and the projector are both 1024x768, there is a one-to-one correspondence between the pixels. If the picture is sized 800x600, either the computer or the projector has to interpolate what the proper pixels would be between the first and the last, because they don't line up. The monitor is going to display the picture as one pixel per pixel to size the displayed picture unless the HTML code is set up to call out the display size. I know you are well aware of all this from your previous posts, but I thought I would state it once again for the others.
