This fellow made me laugh when I first saw him. I can't help it they are so funny. The smile on my face got bigger when I saw the results of the shots.

Great shot!
There seems to be a wide variation in Red Squirrel colour. There are some almost black ones at Formby but have not managed to get a decent photo of one

Wonderful, absolutely cracking. One of my favourite British mammals superbly captured. Great light and a nice gnarly tree. Can I ask where this was shot?

Thanks Elliott,
This one is taken in my garden. I have a feeder for the birds and also this squirrel is a regular visiter. But the birds are more easier to shoot.

I would give a limb to have a red squirrel in my garden!

Lovely picture - is it a scottish squirrel - they can be alittle lighter in colour - almost golden.

Very nice shot Edwin, he does look a bit pale but I've not seen one of these for a while now so my recall could be vague.
The squirrel's pose is ideal, and looks natural and relexed.
As other comments I think it looks a little pale / light.
