Impending Death
The Gorge was ice cold this evening as I made my way up the historic highway

I liked this perspective...your comments are appreciated!

Thanks

Darren, I noticed this same scene along the road last year, but was too eager to get to the main falls to stop for a shot. If I go again this year, I might choose to grab a much smaller and more abstract close-up of some part of this hillside. I could easily be persuaded to shoot back down to the Gorge tomorrow, if I knew the ice buildup was anywhere near like last year.

Was that you on the 14 east of Camas today shooting the ice around noon-ish? I drove past someone shooting something like this today. Really like the B&W over in ESS quite a bit, probably more effective than the color one.

Cool shot, still.

Awesome Darren,
I've always wanted to shoot these but always too lazy. I think you just gave me a reason to not be lazy. I think this is excellent!
