We had some good rain and light today (Sunday the 14th) and actually pretty warm temps - in the 40's. The ice missed us - at least for the time being. I got out and shot a few images - you can read about them in the Cloudland Journal, and/or see the gallery HERE .

Looks like you really covered some ground yesterday Tim! Those are some nice shots you've posted. The color of those beech leaves and moss work so well together this time of year. The Cobb Cave and Grotto series are particularly nice. :toast:

Unfortunately, I had to nurse a chest cold and slight fever yesterday, so I decided to stay home. All I have now is a runny nose, so I'm gonna go play today. Did you get any snow last night?

We were dry all night and now just a little freezing drizzle - no snow or much ice, although it looks like everything has a slight ice glaze. The rivers below are roaring. Gosh darnit, I guess I will have to get dressed and go to work...

Tim, I was really impressed with the waterfalls on Roark Bluff, amazing! That must be a sight to see in person. I especially like the shots at Pam's Grotto, what a beautiful place.

It must be hard to drag yourself out of bed everyday and go to work!
