I finally got the chance to go out yesterday and spent a great day messing about on the North Norfolk coast. I have done Snow Buntings before but it was nice to get some digital images. I would like to thank Mark Smith who I bumped into because like a fool left my 2x Convertor behind and Mark picked it up . It has saved me the best part of £200 so I owe you a drink or two, cheers Mate.

Hi Danny,
Nice meeting you the other day, I see some Danny Green characteristics in the snow bunting. Great the way it coordinates with the pebbles, nice one.
Very nice image. Like the colours and sharpness is excellent.
Cheers

I, like you love messing around on a beach in the winter it is great fun.
My last post was a snow bunting which was photographed in the Cairngorms and the enviroments are the opposite in the extremes you wonder why the birds winter in such a bleak place when the coasts are so much better.

Hi Danny
I like it. I am a fan of the low angle for bird shots and this is about as low as it gets. Good use of the pebbles to create a good foreground and background to the image. Composition wise it would make an excellent magazine cover.
Only minor nit, the eye just looks a fraction soft so maybe a bit more USM on the eye would give it a bit more punch.

Phillip.
Great shot,
The lighting is perfect, and I like the OOF FG.
The pebble on the left helps balance the composition.

I like this too - are complete contrast to your last Snow Bunting shot!
Very nice image. Like the colours and sharpness is excellent.

Lovely image, really like the subtle colours and the OOF FG works very well!
