Painted White
D2x
f/9 @ 1/100 sec
70-200 @ 200 mm

The back side of the main hill. Everything was pretty frozen so we didn't feel too bad walking all over the place (although we still stayed off the Hills).

This is weird in a good weird way, looks like miniature model trees. The depth of the photo is also weird with the background as it is. Good stuff.

Thanks, Mike, you know me, I like it weird.

I think the thing that impresses me the most about this shot is the sense of scale. You realize how large the hills really are as the trees seem dwarfed by their background.

I like this one quite a bit. The comp is spot on in my opinion.

WOW, Mark I think this is pretty impressive, I'm sure you worked this spot for more, keep it up!

You really found some great stuff out there in the snow, Mark. No exception here. I love the bold features here and the composition is perfect.

There was a partial tree I cloned out on the left, you can see cloning evidence if you look closely. I'll do a better job on that when I print it.

Great job with the setup of the trees against the hills. I love the perspective of the trees in comparison to the hills

Seems more like a painting than a photo - great job Mark.
