Nice strong lead in line with the trees here Alan, and lucky you to get some colour at dawn - it's been almost wall to wall grey drabness here for as long as I can remember! It even looks dry where you are!!
Maybe a little more saturation punchiness might help, and you really could have done with an obliging grey squirrel in the bottom left hand corner too, but they don't hop into place to order do they!!

I'm afriad this shot doesn't work for me.
Good use of the line of trees, but I think a focal point is needed.
