Pt. Reyes Icon
I'd been wondering where this viewpoint was and recently found that it's out along the Chimney Rock trail. I look forward to getting back out there in spring when the wildflower display is supposedly amazing.

Nicely done, John! The color is nice for a sunny and clear day. The water looks cold and I can almost hear the waves hitting the rocks.

Wonderful landscape John. I'm familiar with that spot and you've certainly captured a great scene with beautiful light. I've been there in the spring, but it's always a crap-shoot in terms of the wind and the extent of the wildflowers, usually not an expanse of flowers for landscapes, but lots of folks go there for hunting individual species.

Thanks for posting,
Lon

Great shot of the California coastline John. Looks like a neat place to explore.

I've been up there when there was supposedly a good amount of wildflowers but I didn't agree with that assessment. Plus it can be windy up there. The view however is incredible.

Beautifully done, John. The patterns formed by the waves and the folds in the cliffs work so well together.
