Blue Tit
I just love the contrast between the bird and the branch. They visit my feeder often but I still enjoy shooting them.

Nice typical pose from this endearing bird, good lichen covered perch too, I do however find the mass of perch behind the bird a little distracting, I think because it is quite busy, also what appears to be motion blur of the top of the perch, but that is being very picky, the bird appears to be tack sharp.

Hi Edwin,

I would have to agree with Charles. Its beautiful, especially with the golden lichen on the perch. If it wasn't for the (often ignored) blue tit, would anyone here have much else to practice on. A great little bird which a adore seeing at my feeders. Well done :toast:

Hi Edwin,

Lovely shot - the colours and contrast are great, but not sure if focal point is on the twig rather than the eyes as the beak etc looks soft whilst the branch below looks pin sharp? nice to see some blank space as well - often sorely missed in photos!

Cheers
