Hi to all,
Blackbird with lunch , taken at Fairburn Ings last week , went for the Fieldfares and Redwing but couldn't get close enough.

Crop for comp , Levels and Usm in CS2

Canon 20D , 500mm F4 L IS , 1.4t/c , W/Hv2 , Gitzo 1325
1/125th at F11 iso400 ev-1/3

All comments and advice most welcome

Hi Andrew,

A shot I have always wanted to achieve for myself, but alas, berry trees seem to be quickly disappearing from central london. My only comment would be that it does appear a little dark/muted. Great action with the berry in the bill.

Nice pose, composition is a little central for my taste but great to get the berry in its beak.

Was this shot in RAW and processed in Rawshooter? just that it has that look....

The shot was taken in JPEG , I haven't got the hang of processing Raw images yet.

lovely eye and action - does look a bit muted though, but guess thats the uk weather for you
