Last night we changed some of the UKNP website.

These changes are to try and implement some of the ideas discussed at the 1st UKNP Conference.

The first change is the implementation of an 'Articles' structure to enable those who wish to write articles, providing they are good , to get some 'air-time'. Please be aware that any intended articles will need to conform to published guidelines and will be published under YOUR name - so, if we accept them, do yourself proud!

Within the Articles Index page you will find a link to the UKNP article submission guidelines (which are still under review) and a link to a feature article on the 1st UNKP conference which shows the typical article layout. If you click on the thumbnails in the article you will be taken to a slide show of those thumbnails with the associated menu structure to return to the article. The Articles Index is located here

The Front Page has also changed. We intend to change the front page more frequently in order to advise members of things like...
modifications to the website,
updates to the articles page,
forthcoming gatherings and
points of interest

These notification will, in some cases, be instead of posts at the top of the forum; therefore I suggest you book-mark this in your 'favourites' as the entry point to the UKNP web.

Finally there are still some changes to come - the most notable being the change of the menu at the top of the Forum page to be the same as that of the rest of UKNP - for that we need Jim.

If you have any comments, or find any broken links, please post them below.

Cheers - The Mods

Hi Tom, Nick, Phil

The new Front Page looks good. I am glad to see the articles section and I hope it will become a good resource for information on locations, equipment and nature photography in general.

cheers
