Ive finally joined so here is my first photo.
Taken on a rather cloudy afternoon this week and used some of the processing techniques ive picked up from on here, let me know what you think guys, image and processing

Hi Andy,
Welcome - a nice first image - the exposure looks good, the pose is good, the bird perhaps could do with sharpening more and I personally would put the bird anywhere other than in the middle, but appreciate with this kind of shot where else do you put it!

Solid first post - especially the repost. I think given the strong side lighting you have done very well if I was to nit pick I might shave a tad off the bottom stopping at his reflection!
