I sold a few prints and cards at an art fair last year. I'm going to give it another shot this year. I want to display small prints in a more attractive way than I did last year. I am considering showing the prints mounted (using photo corners) on backing board. Any thoughts on this idea?

Check out Cindy's posts and photos about her display on the General Discussion board. She did a really nice job.

For my first craft fair I mounted my prints in mats with backing. They were not framed, but they were placed in clear plastic bags so they could be seen well but also removed from the bag for closer inspection. I also had several portfolio books available for inspection of prints not mounted. I sold the prints with the mats.

My customers seemed to appreciate the mats rather than juts buying he print by itself. The mats also set the print off well making them more attractive. The mats were purchased from Impact Images at www.clearbags.com

Good luck.

mating your prints is definently the way to go. Customers really like to see what the picture will look like mounted and if gives a very clean presentation as they look through your photos.
