Snow bunting
This was taken in the winter of 2001 between Christmas and new year, on the West Coast where I live we usually get one or two snow buntings each year this particular year we had seven or eight plus a few shore lark anyway after a few days of looking for them I did manage to find them and take a few images this being one of them.

Hi Phillip,

I see what you meant about it being different to both mine and Danny's efforts, this one looks as though it's attempting the Snow Bunting Land Speed Record!

Great shot, no nits from me.

I love the way its running - you can almost see a link with dinosaurs with the forward leaning posture of the bird!
