We discussed this behemoth 2100 foot waterfall on Sulphide Creek at the workflow session at Rick's place today. This is one of the shots I took last August from the ridge separating the Shannon and Sulphide Creek drainages on the southeast shoulder of Mount Shuksan. This is only a tiny sliver of the falls. Marhsall brought up John Scurlock, and he so happens to have shot the falls from the air last summer as well. His shots are much more illustrative than mine:
What you're seeing in his shots is early day flow. The volume on the creek will double by the afternoon, making it much more visible, so long as you look at it straight on - which is why it is so damn hard to get a good picture of. I'll be going back up there this coming summer, possibly overnight, if anyone wants to tag along.

No, its a very thin crevice in the cliff face - in some places almost slot-canyon like - that the water contours. I was looking at it at an angle, so it sort of looks like that, but its exposed all the way down.
