First Picture Post - Fox (captive)
Hi all,

Would appreciate your comments on this picture of a Fox (sadly in captivity).

In particular I would appreciate if you could tell me if the colours look ok to you? I have recently purchased a new monitor and profiling it has been a bit tricky but I think I have got it to an acceptable state now.

Cheers

Rich.

I'm not usually a fan of 'portraits' but this is very nice. Exposure and colour look fine to me. :toast:

Hi Rich,

Welcome to the forum :wavey:

Nice portrait of the Fox, to me there seems to be a slight magenta cast and the colours seem a bit dull.

HTH

Regards

Rob

I've tweaked the levels to get rid of the magenta cast and given it a wee touch of contrast via USM. I've maybe blown some of your marginal whites, but it's a small file and I'm just filling in time between prints:wink:
I'd check your monitor calibration again as even old colour-blind me can see a fairly strong magenta cast on your original.

Look forward to seeing more shots from you in the near future. :toast: :toast: :wavey:

Thanks for the replies, thought there maybe a cast there somewhere after looking through some other posts.

Back to the profiling then!
