Isolated Starling
Taken the other day, I decided to leave a bit of space for the Starling to look into, maybe a bit to much space but maybe enough for if text was to be added

Comments greatly appreciated.

Nice wintery looking starling. I would prefer a little more space on the left, though others may disagree.

Certainly works for the purpose it was intended for but without the text it looks like it should be shot vertical.

Vince

Lovely starling image against a great background. I agree with Phil about a touch more space on the left, but it is a very minor nit and the image is fine as it is.

Nice pic Vince - same observations re space as others- I am a fan of context rather than frame filling subjects generally, but this just needs a hint more on the left for balance imo.

I'd never realy noticed starlings much until recently and your photo shows the wonderful range of colours and patterns this bird own. I'm finding my feet with framing so not in a position to add to the others but I do like the capture.

Lovely Shot Vince and possibly one of my favourites of yours so far - all to do with the space you have used in the pic - I much prefer something like this to a close-up frame filling bird.
