Hi,
I'm currently planning to spend this week traveling up the Calif coast and would like to stop in on one, or more, of the monarch roosting areas. Does anyone know specific areas where they have actually been observed this winter?
Thanks, Ken (RMNP)

Natural Bridges State Park in Santa Cruz. And there's the monarch butterfly reserve in Pacific Grove near Monterey. I believe there might be some in Pismo Beach also. I've never seen them before but I have tried to in the past and that's where they supposedly are.
