Taken today at Slimbridge. Showed well for a couple of hours - very strong sun.

Pity about a few wavy reeds near its feet

Canon 1Dmk11N, 500f4 + 1.4TC, ISO 400, f5.6, 1/4000 s, Av mode

Bean bag

A nice first posting Martin of a bird I've never seen let alone got an image of. Wavy reeds at 1/4000th?? Some pretty active reeds :biggrin:
