Taken at Budleigh in Devon at the weekend. Was trying to get Little Grebes when this one had a swim. Quite a long way off and about a 60% crop, so not much value to anyone except me Thought I'd post in anyway as I haven't much else
Graeme, nice shot - perhaps a little oversharpened?

Hi Niall, no flash used. I think that it may be just water and the sun reflecting on it. It was midday sun so that may have caused the look...and the crop, and my processing
The asb1 is an Arca Swiss B1 ballhead..... lovely bit of kit!!
Hi Chas, agree with you actually, though on my monitor at work which is a pretty poor TFT, it looks terrible and I wouldn't be comfortable posting it if it looked this poor. On my home monitor, which is a poor CRT, it looks alright and to be honest, I'm comfortable enough with the quality of it to post it. Interesting!!!
Be interested to see what others see as well. Thanks for the comments

Niall
