That is a lot of birds! I was there 2 nights ago, tried to shoot a Great Blue Heron, but couldn't get close enough and the sun was setting. This place is just 5 min from my house.

I like this David. Random thought, it reminds me of being swarmed by mosquitos in Fairbanks in May!

If you and Dave would be interested, I'd love to meet there some time to capture a few together.

I've always heard the mosquitos are that big in Fairbanks in May! But I've only been to the Kenai in September...

I'm planning to go to Nisqually tomorrow morning, Saturday. I'm the guy with the big glass and the baby jogging stroller.

Is big glass a *must* for Nisqually? I have the baby jogging stroller ....

I'll take a look at the calendar for the next couple weekends, then get back to you 2 to see what we can arrange.

Hope to see some of your posted images from today David.

Nice work capturing these guys!! My only nit is the foreground is too out of focus for my liking. That GBH in the foreground would be an excellent extra if only it were in focus...

Nisqually is an awesome place to hang out and watch/shoot the wildlife for sure!!!
