Here is an image from my skagit valley trip. Diablo lake wasn't the only thing to shoot. Hand held a 600mm IS for this one... :eek:

Hand-held - pheww :rolleyes: , I think you posted a similar shot or the same one in the Avian gallery. A very nice shot.

Too bad you didn't have a tripod. The image would have been crystal! Good the way it is, handheld and all. The eagle is magnificent, and I gotta say the clumps of moss on the branch are the perfect accent. Nice going.
