Taken a little later in the morning on the same day as my other Rainier shot I posted. My second try using a GND. I'm guessing this could have benefited from using a 1 stop? I think this one was a 2 stop. I've seen plenty of pictures taken here with the mountain centered, I was looking to try something a little different.
I just realized after I posted this I didnt convert to sRGB, sorry for posting the second image here but the first looks pretty washed out.

Hi Doug,
GREAT brilliant color in this!!! I like the creative composition quite well. What doesn't work for me is the clear/cloudless sky and the shadows in the foreground. Reflection lake is a VERY popular spot for us photogs for sure and most likely the shadows are both of you and the other photogs that accumulate there on nice mornings such as this one.
Finding a fresh view at this spot is a REAL challenge for sure!!!! I suggest you keep going back to our beloved "Reflection Lake" and keep shooting this exact scene at an earlier time in the morning with killer lit up clouds in the sky!!
Well done. This looks well balanced (with the GND, I mean) and very colorful. Great comp. Love those shafts of light at the FG extending over the lake.
