Darren,
Powerful color in this comp is stunning. I like how the pier and buildings take you out into the bay. IMO, there's too much scraggly tree canopy, which (depending on your digital post-processing ethic) could be creatively pruned. Also that dang power pole could just get lost somehow. Aren't they usually in the exact wrong place most of the time! One of many of Murphy's laws: good scenery around human habitation will have at least one pole and/or power lines in it.
The tree branches seem to drop too low into the picture. I'd like to see a little separation between them and the mountains. Too bad about the power pole. Everything else about this is awesome. The rest of the comp, the colors (especially the orange lights on the building matching the sky). Over all, very nice .

Darren,
My brother and I shot this last winter at dusk and we came up with some pretty cool shots. This is a different take from what we captured. I agree with Inge's comment about the seperation of the trees and the mountains. But I'll have to give you kudos for being creative.

it was all a matter of where I placed the tripod and I could have went up a bit...I also could clone out the branches but its how I saw it so I am keeping it......but I appreciate the comments and agree with you all about the low hanging branches...
