I like this too, great to see their environment, had a go of cropping a bit off the top but not sure.

Nice one Mike. Whereabouts at the Bill were these?

Might try to get there next weekend.

Hi Rob

I had 4 to the left of the Obelisk/sea watch point on the large stepped shelf (ignore the reports of 2 birds on the PB website, there are 4 birds about in a loose flock), the PS frequent the tideline boulders here (having searched about 2 miles of coastline before finding them!) the birds can be very elusive to spot - also large numbers of belly oiled Guillemots about as well.

Chesil beach - (tidal mud marsh by the CP on the RH side of the causeway has all 3 Brents species at present if you fancy some mud crawling - , several hundred dark bellied, 3 or 4 pale bellied and a black brant - I gave it a miss in the dull overcast windy conditions (- real reason the wife was in tow, so not a day to get plastered in mud, considering we drove down in her car....)

the cafe hasn't half been modernised since the last time I visited the bill! - result is the place was crawling with daytrippers even in cold windy overcast conditions - weekdays would be significantly quiter

I like this a lot  its good to see a different angle on things. The waves on the rocks make an interresting background too.
