This was taken last Saturday AM. We are supposed to have a BIG freeze here next weekend ( high on Sunday 10 degrees --low near Zero or below). This part of the park will be a bit colder due to the elevation. I'll be going out on Monday AM to shoot Brandywine if anyone's interested. This freeze could surpass that of 2 years ago (XMAS DAY) due to the extended length of these cold temps.

Went to Brandywine on Monday and the ice was even thicker. It was about 10 degrees when I was there. Also went to Bridal Veil and most of the creek was under ice. Just a few places below the bridge where it's flowing at the surface. Not a lot of visible ice structures. They've gotten a lot of snow up there--more falling today. Anyone been to Blue Hen in the last few days? I'm thinking of heading over there tomorrow.

Ah ha - a Pat Metheny reference, yes?? Gotta love it....

Interesting - hope to get out and capture a little frozen water here in Indiana this weekend as well.
