Young Eagle
I have finally made some time to get back over to Holla Bend. Seems to be quite a bit of activity around the place over the past few days.

Snow Geese (and poofie feather patches in the grass), Baldies, Tons of Hawks...I even had a solo goose walk right up within about 6 feet of me before he had a very rude awakening! Those guys are just about like armadillos, when they are feeding they have a one track mind.

This shot is of an immature Bald Eagle that had just survived a fly-by from a young Red Tail. As time permits I will put several shots on a page for everyone.

Have a great one!

Nice shot, Larry! By the time I reached the Bend yesterday the nice bright sun had disappeared and I had to deal with the gray clouds. Hope you enjoyed your day!

It's nice to see young eagles like this, it just confirms that they are making a comeback and it's sure nice to see. Thanks for sharing!
