I have three copies left of my guide book "How to Photograph the Canadain Rockies". The book will be reprinted in a larger format in about 3 months. The info will stay the same, but the format will change (the publishers decision, not mine). If you want the original book that fits easily in a camera bag or photo vest, or if you plan to go to the Rockies soon and can't wait for the next edition, then email me at wiggett@telusplanet.net and I will reserve a copy for you. It is $15.00 and you can pay using e-commerce. For more info on the book go here: http://www.darwinwiggett.com/books.html
I'd get one if I didn't already have it
This little book is packed full of useful information and tips, which are practical in just about any situation. You can bet it will be in my pocket when I make my way across the border.

Allthough I haven't read it personally, I talked with two other people while photographing the rockies who noted that your book had played a big part in their photography vacations! They had high praise for the book.

Let me add my name to the list of those endorsing this fine book. Darwin has done a great job putting together a wonderful guide to the photographic playground that is the Canadian Rockies. If you don't have a copy jump at this opportunity. My own copy is well thumbed and has field dirt embedded in the spine. The small format is perfect for throwing in the camera bag.
Guy - You've got to make the trek up here sometime! You'll have blast.

Save me a copy Darwin - maybe with a little luck, I'll be up there soon.
I couldn't resist this perfect opportunity to say what a fantastic book you put out - I bought this book last summer while in Jasper National Park, and it was SO good, especially for someone like me who is a very new photographer, especially when it comes to landscapes. I immediately went out to the Glory Hole several early mornings in a row...waited for the sun to come up, and found that spot absolutely capitvating, even though there wasn't much color the mornings I was there. The photos in your book are so beautiful and awe-inspiring. Thank you!

OK - ALL the books are spoken for now.
Thanks to Guy, Marc, Peter and Nancy for the ringing endorsements. You guys are too kind!

I echo the above sentiments. I've done 2 photo trips in the area and the book was pretty much dead on in it's recommendations. It helped me hit the ground running with some nice shots from beginning to end.
Excellent job Darwin.

I have to agree! This is a great little book and I want to thank Darwin for writing it. I personally love it and have recommended it to several people.

Darwin, I'll add my comments as well. I bought the book last summer and took a trip to the Canadian Rockies the first week of October. I even emailed you about going so late in the year since the middle of September seemed to be the best. You were gracious enough to reply and my wife and I had the best trip we've ever had. I took some of the best images I have ever taken. I've been there twice before but this trip was much more successful because I went with so much more information. A lot of that was due to you and your book. I'd highly recommend it!
